The Yukon partners bring a unique perspective to the cold storage space, having come from servicing fast-growing, space-starved, office space occupiers. Not unlike these office space users, users in the cold chain require an unbroken level of service throughout the lifespan of their business, while demanding an equally great level of flexibility as their businesses shift, expand, and contract to keep pace with changing markets. Armed with an array of unique data, Yukon is able to pinpoint trends in these users’ site selection and growth patterns.

Marty Khait

As a co-founder of Yukon Venture Partners, Marty Khait brings high energy and great focus to his role as Co-Managing Principal. Marty leads the firm with a distinct perspective, having completed real estate transactions from a variety of unique vantage points.

Prior to YVP, Marty led the business development and played a key role in the in-house leasing efforts for NY based WeWork Companies in their Texas region. In this role, Marty took part in growing the firm from 4 locations in Texas to more than 20 in a span of two years. Marty developed and instituted an agency leasing program and led its implementation across the country. Subsequently, the firm has downsized its sales force and is relying heavily on the project leasing relationships and systems Marty developed.

Before WeWork Cos, Marty served as Managing Director for Kinsey Capital, a boutique investment sales and financing firm. Marty led the firm’s hiring, recruiting, and training programs while continuing to transact on commercial sales and leases. At the firm, Marty was the firm’s top producer and most prolific salesperson. Prior to Kinsey Capital, Marty was an associate at Fameco Real Estate, L.P., a brokerage firm specializing in retail real estate and the shopping center industry. In that position, Marty’s responsibilities included business development, market research, and construction oversight.

Marty earned a B.S. in Architectural Engineering with a minor in Real Estate from Drexel University, where he was a member of the university’s NCAA Division I Varsity Rowing team. Marty has served on boards and held positions with ICSC, Society of Value Engineers, Order of the Engineer, and Drexel University Young Alumni. He lives in Austin, TX with his wife and twin children.

Oliver Davis-Urman

Oliver serves as Co-Managing Principal of Yukon Venture Partners, helping oversee all aspects of the business. Oliver was instrumental in sourcing the anchor tenant, Premier Refrigerated Warehouse, of Yukon’s first ground up development project in Burleson, TX. Serving as the primary negotiator on behalf of the General Partnership, Oliver successfully guided lease negotiations with the tenant that resulted in a 10 year contract worth ~$30M over the life of the term, and served as the catalyst for getting the project capitalized.

Prior to co-founding Yukon, Oliver was a Senior Sales Leader at WeWork, a global flexible office space provider. At WeWork, Oliver was responsible for growing the mid-market and enterprise customer segments across Texas and the Mountain West region by working directly with business owners and their real estate representatives. Oliver spent extensive time in Fort Worth, Dallas, Salt Lake City, and New York opening 15 new WeWork locations and delivering them to 100% occupancy within 6 months of opening. During that time he closed over $15M in tenant transactions with companies that include Amherst Holdings LLC, BB&T, Citadel, Uber, and Trinet. Oliver was recognized by the company as a “Pacesetter” for his achievements.
